Praise for this book

This story had me hooked! I couldn’t put it down. It was so heartbreaking and real and sad and made me really feel bad for the characters and their struggles and made me feel so blessed for my own life and put things into perspective. It changed my point of view and my opinion on those who struggle with addiction. The book was very well written and never got boring, I kept wanting to turn the page to know what was going to happen next. It reminded me of Go Ask Alice- if you liked that book you will love this one!!

Rebekah has a true gift for writing. For such a heavy subject, I could not put this book down. Rebekah’s words flow effortlessly. Drawing on her own experience makes her work feel real and raw. She also delves into the political aspects that are contributing to Vancouvers’s opioid crisis. A very sad story told through very relatable characters. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to learn more about these issues, and anyone who enjoys stories about people.
